“ Waves were FUN - seemed easier (for me) to catch early on but was fun the entire time. I personally prefer to get axed (which I do plenty!) than not give it a go - within reason of course :) Love getting challenged and having a great bunch of folk to do that with. “ What a relaxing, beautiful place to surf. Reasonably big surf and the shorebreaks meant that it was pretty damn tricky. So glad I took the much more manoeuvrable 6' 6" Wombat out. I never thought I'd say it, but shortboarding rocks! Don't know where the energy came from, but I had an absolutely awesome time this morning.
